Impressionist Paintings

This is a bit different from my usual sixties-posts. I have recently been learning about Impressionist paintings in my French class, and I've fallen in love! I especially love the portraits. They really give you insight into the everyday life and culture of La Belle Epoque...

Pattie and George

I just stumbled across some of my favourite George Harrison and Pattie Boyd pictures on Tumblr today and thought I'd post them here! She is one of my biggest fashion inspirations, and he's... well, he's George Harrison.

My Picks for the Oscars!

Well, the Academy Awards nominations have been announced, and like every year they have pissed me off. And I'm sure that the once they announce the winners, I will be even more offended.
So without further ado, here's MY version, the FIONA AWARDS!

Best Picture: Moonrise Kingdom... yes I know it's not nominated. Whatever.

Actress: Quvenzhané Wallis for Beasts of the Southern Wild
Supporting actor: Ben Whishaw for Skyfall
Supporting actress: Sally Field for Lincoln

Okay most of the Hobbit wins there were because I'm biased, I know it wasn't a fantastic movie but I really enjoyed the parts of it that weren't fighting.
